Dit Europese subsidieprogramma is bedoeld om te bevorderen dat het gebruik van internet veiliger wordt, met name voor kinderen. Ook richt het programma zich op het bestrijden van de illegale inhoud van internet en inhoud waar eindgebruikers niet om vragen. U kunt als bedrijf deelnemen aan projecten. Internationale projecten hebben hierbij de voorkeur. Enkele activiteiten en maatregelen waarvoor subsidie mogelijk is, zijn: proefprojecten en acties met betrekking tot beste praktijken; onderzoek waarop mensen, en vooral kinderen met nieuwe online-technologieën omgaan; beoordeling van technologieën zoals filtertechnologie; prijsvragen ronde de beste praktijken; opzetten van netwerken.
